How Trip Decider works.
A free two-minute quiz that names one destination for you or your group. This page says plainly how the answer is made.
What it is
Trip Decider is a free quiz that picks one holiday destination for a UK traveller, or for a group that can’t agree. It asks 13 questions (14 for stag and hen), takes about two minutes, and needs no account.
How a match is picked
Your answers score you as one of 6 traveller types: Sun Chaser, Culture Forager, Slow Coast Wanderer, Food Pilgrim, Adrenaline Case, Off-Grid Reset. An AI model (Claude, with Cloudflare Workers AI as a backup) then picks one destination that fits your budget, airport, flight tolerance and who’s coming, and says why. If neither answers, the quiz falls back to our own curated list of 56 worldwide places, plus separate lists for UK, ski, stag and hen trips.
Crew mode
The organiser sends one link. Everyone answers privately, with no account. Once two people have finished, the group gets one shared verdict rather than a vote or another shortlist.
Paid plans
The decision is free. The optional Trip Dossier (£19) and organiser Crew Pack (£29) are one-off plans written by AI from your answers and emailed within 48 hours. The first 100 customers pay 75% less (£4.75 and £7.25). They are advice, not bookings: prices are estimates, not live fares, and we don’t sell or package travel.
